Life force

She never seemed
To be a stranger
Even for the first time
In my life I ever met her
Her voice invoked
My dead spirits
Her smile enticing
Her words of beauty
Caressed me gently
Like the kind dew drops
Did to a primrose
She never seemed
To be a stranger
She talks to me
With all her concern
She chides me
To realize myself
My strengths and weaknesses
She balances me
To take the tight rope walk of life
She brings me back to my senses
When my thoughts go astray
She teaches me the celebration of life
She reprimands me if I am down
With all love unconditional
She resurrects me from
My almost buried grave
She never seems a stranger to me
Either for the first time
Or the umpteen times I meet her
She is to me a dejavu
Whenever she tells me
“I love you”
I wish this would be my epitaph
Dear “I lived because of you”
